- About Janet
Janet is an international marketing & business
development professional by day and an international
fitness ZUMBA and fitness entertainer by night. Janet brings a lifetime of
passions, culture and her global professional experiences to
her Zumba classes. She has over 20 years of fitness experience
in instructing, educating and motivating clients to achieve
better health, lifestyle and athletic performance. Her goal is to motivate students to achieve “Personal
Fitness Responsibility” and learn that exercising is
“fun.”
Janet is a certified international group fitness
professional, personal trainer and presenter. She has performed in Latin America, China and India. She holds several national and international certifications including;
Zumba, Power, Silver Sneakers and Personal Training, to
name a few.
She holds an MBA from Thunderbird, The School
of International Management the worlds #1 Global School of Business and a BSBA from Bowling Green
State University. She sits on two boards, has lived in 4 countries traveled to over 70 and has studied several languages. .She is a former competitive triathlete
and loves to dance and travel. She speaks Spanish and resides in Atlanta, GA with her
husband and two kitties.
Zumba instructor since 2002 and trained by Beto Perez the creator of Zumba Janet was the pioneer for Zumba in Atlanta. Over the past 9 years, she created ZumbaAtlanta.com and has helped to foster the development of Zumba in Atlanta and Georgia and worked with the CEO and management team to provide field information and business tactics which are found in the Zumba brand and product solution today.
Combining my passions for international business and cultures, and love for music, dance and fitness is why I added Zumba to my portfolio and why I still have it today!
